The Theory of Everything

My husband and I came across something quite fascinating lately. Here is a quote from a fancy scientist on

"Over the past century, physicists have unlocked the secrets behind radio and television, nuclear energy and the power of the sun. Now they're seeking the ultimate prize: a "theory of everything" that could reveal a bizarre realm of interdimensional wormholes and time warps. Such a theory would give us the ability to 'read the mind of God,'" says Cambridge cosmologist Stephen Hawking. And in Hawking's opinion, there's a 50-50 chance that someone will discover the Holy Grail of physics within the next 20 years." (Alan Boyle, Science editor, , Oct. 8, 1998).

We know that reading the mind of God isn't ever going to happen, but I am still intrigued by the concept of this "Theory of Everything" (TOE). Basically, the idea is that this theory could fully explain and link together all known physical phenomena in our Universe—from planets to atomic particles. It would unify or explain the theories of all fundamental interactions of nature. Some physicists believe that this theory even deserves to be called "the fundamental law of the universe."

At this point, I feel pretty smart, because I am confident that I have already solved this cosmic mystery that has stumped scientists and physicists since they began to suspect it. These genius' will now spend their lives searching for an answer that is so simple, my granny (and my kids) could explain it, but so complex, the worlds greatest scientists, physicists, and mathematicians could never fully comprehend it. But the answer itself is right under their noses. In the Bible.

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Hebrews 1:3

Everything has been created through him and for him. He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together. Colossians 1:16-17

So there you have it. The Theory of Everything, solved. Any more questions?
