Whether it’s playing a role, writing a script, or directing a play, I love the whole concept of drama. It is true that we can touch hearts through stage and story in a way we could never do as ourselves.
Through the years, I’ve had experience in community and church theater, radio and TV, musicals, chorus, and background work. Now, at this season of my life, I’m excited about the opportunity to do more in the media arts.
The Gideon Media Arts Conference and Film Festival is a ministry and training effort I’m passionate about. As the co-director of the Gideon Clash Intern Program for Teens, I am honored to invest in the future of film and the media arts by investing in the lives and hearts of 16-18 year old directors, producers, actors, screenwriters, singer/songwriters, and graphic artists.
In the past year, I’ve partnered with another actress and writer, Deb Dunn, to create The Story Women, a production company of live and video productions, including The Story of a Woman’s Life (TM), Diapers2Diapers, Fractured Fairy Tales, and The Church Ladies.
I’m also preparing through classes, seminars, and ongoing scene study. I look forward to upcoming auditions and reels.
